Fabric expansion joints

Fabric expansion joints

Multi-layers textile compensators, open construction, for flue gas at high temperatures

Fabric expansion joints (or textile compensators) are made of different layers of heat resistant cloths with high tensile strength.
They are studied to guarantee a perfect seal and the highest mechanical resistance in different working conditions.
Fabric expansion joints are generally installed on hot air, steam or flue gas ducts and used to absorb thermal expansions, misalignments and to eliminate the vibrations generated from the mechanical equipment connected to the pipelines.
They are made in different layers and materials such as PTFE, steel sheets or nets, silicone or aluminium and they can be insulated inside with ceramic felts or treated HT glass fiber of our production according to the application and the specifications of the customer.
Fabric expansion joints are produced in linear size (open construction) or with shapes and dimensions according to the customer's drawings.
They are needed in a wide array of industries, such as power plants, petrochemical, steel mills, cement factory, pulp & paper, along with countless other industrial facilities.
