Tubo in PTFE a parete sottile di produzione italiana

PTFE Tubing

Thin wall PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tubing is produced by paste extrusion, making it possible to obtain very small diameters and thicknesses for a variety of applications.

Thanks the features of PTFE (teflon), which make it a unique material, as it has a low coefficient of friction, excellent resistance to external agents, a high degree of non-stickiness, a high degree of resistance to low and high temperatures (from -200° C to +200° C), the thin walled tubes are used for many industrial applications: as dielectric lining and to transfer aggressive chemicals, food products and any other fluid with critical characteristics in terms of temperature and chemical aggressiveness.

PTFE tubing is produced with a minimum wall thickness of 0.5 mm and a nominal inner diameter of 1 mm. The small tubes called "spaghetti", built according to AMS standards, can be produced on request with various pigmentations.

The material is usually available ex stock.
