The pipe Repair clamps provided by ETI, entierely in stainless steel construction, represent the best solution for the emergency and permanent repair of breaks, pitting, cracks and holes in metal and plastic pipelines; they are robust, light and resistant to environmental and marine corrosion.

SPECIFICATIONS

Thread protection caps	Plastic caps to protect the thread.
Bolts	Stainless steel AISI 304; Dimensions depend on diameter. M12, M14 or M16 (metric thread according DIN267). Thread is PTFE (Telfon) coated to ensure free running.
Lifterbar	Stainless steel AISI 304. L shaped. Lips hold bolts in position while tightening.
Nuts	Stainless steel AISI 304. Size M12, M14 or M16 according DIN934. Extra yellow passivated to optimize free running.
Washer	Stainless steel AISI 304. Size M12, M14 or M16.
Body Shell	Stainless steel AISI 304
Armour plate	Vulcanised into the gasket for all standard clamps Stainless steel AISI 304.
Gasket	No toxic NBR gasket, proper for both gas and water purposes. It has a waffle structure and tapered ends. - EPDM gaskets is optional - VITON gasket upon request.

Additional	After welding all stainless steel parts are passivated to obtain a high corrosion resistance. Further to the above mentioned technical specifications; products are also available in AISI 316/316L quality.

These repair clamps can be offered in many variations. Pending the pipe diameter and the tolerance these clamps or repair joints are available in one, two or three sections:

Single band clamp

Double band clamp

Triple band clamp

Double band clamp with a central threaded or flanged derivation

These pipe accessories is available with a width band range from a minimum of 100 mm. to a maximum of 800 mm.

Criteria to be followed in the selection of repair clamps

The choice of clamps Eti is done according to the external diameter of the tube. While the width band is based on the break, to the hole or to the width of the crack on the pipe to be repaired.
1. The single band clamp allows a tolerance of 10 mm. on the outside diameter of the tube.
Example: 110 mm/120 mm. (these sizes are clearly indicated on the clamp or repair joint).
2. The double band clamp allows a tolerance of 20 mm. on the outside diameter of the pipe.
Example: 110 mm/130 mm. (these sizes are clearly indicated on the clamp)
3. The triple band clamp allows a tolerance of 30 mm. on the outside diameter of the pipeline.
Example: 110 mm/140 mm. (these sizes are clearly indicated on the clamp).

Total corrosion resistance: since there are no different metal couplings, the electrolysis corrosion is very limited.

CAUTION: IN CASE OF NECESSITY IT IS ALLOWED TO USE REPAIR CLAMPS WHICH THE MAXIMUM DIAMETER IS SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN THE EXTERNAL DIAMETER OF THE PIPE. ON THE CONTRARY, IT MUST NOT ABSOLUTELY TO MOUNT CLAMPS WHICH THE MINIMUM DIAMETER IS HIGHER THAN THE OUTER DIAMETER OF THE PIPE.
